Through the Homo Sapiens Earth Origins collection, Visconti has paid homage to the primordial forces of the universe, capturing their essence in precious writing instruments. Now, with the final chapter of this exceptional journey, we present the most precious element: Aether. Limited to 388 pieces worldwide.
The Homo Sapiens Earth Origins Aether pen is crafted from a mesmerizing bluish-purple resin made by Jonathon Brooks, a shade long associated with nobility, wisdom and the infinite sky. The celestial hue, shifting between deep violet and radiant indigo, captures the essence of the cosmic unknown.
The pen is embellished with rose gold trim, a warm and luminous contrast that enhances its aura of refinement and sophistication. The 18kt pure gold nib, designed to offer an exceptional writing experience, reflects the preciousness and masterythat distinguish Visconti.
The Homo Sapiens features a vacuum filling system that is easy to use and has considerable benefits. Patented in 1998, this is arguably the most advanced filling system ever developed in fountain pen history. The user is able to fill the pen with the equivalent of 10 cartridges of ink, and thanks to the two reservoirs, prevents ink from leaking during air travel. This revolutionary closing system is very satisfying to operate and was created to lock the pen body into the cap to prevent the possibility of the pen accidentally unscrewing and leaking inside a pocket or bag.
It comes with Visconti’s 18kt gold in-house nib hand-crafted and manufactured in Florence, Italy. Available in EF, F, M, and B.
We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.
Please note we are unable to accept a return of this pen for any reason once it has been used with ink. Please thoroughly inspect and dry test the pen before use.
