Visconti Homo Sapiens Demo Stones Fountain Pen – Emerald

Visconti’s Homo Sapiens Demo Stone Collection’s inspiration comes from the most famous gemstones: Ruby, Sapphire, Amethyst, Garnet and Emerald – admired for their rich colors. Vibrant transparent resins meet the iconic design of the Homo Sapiens collection; a natural encounter with light, adding transparency, depth and fluidity. Each pen is then enriched by a semi-precious stone on the top of the pen cap: green agate, blue agate, and red carnelian stones, to emulate the three inspirational gem colors of the pen bodies. The new Homo Sapiens Demo Stones fountain pens have their true power born out of their natural encounter with light, which gives life to their transparency, density, splendor, and fluidity.
Each Demo Stone is designed, made and polished in Viscontis Florentine workshop. The barrel and cap are made from turned acrylic resin and carefully hand-polished, both inside and out, with special felt tools, to guarantee an excellent result. The barrel is made from semi-translucent resin and represents the glowing beauty of a precious stone.
The cap has a quick-action bayonet fitting with the ‘Visconti’ inscribed fully-sprung pocket clip. Silver-coloured trim sets off the gem-coloured barrel nicely. The fountain pen features Viscontis patented Double Reservoir Power Filler, a unique filling system that allows a greater ink capacity and safe usage during air flights. Each Demo Stones Homo Sapiens is equipped with the in-house made 14k Gold nib from Visconti.
