Visconti Comedia Fountain Pen – Virgilio (Limited Edition)

Visconti is pleased to announce the “Comedia” collection inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. Dante Alighieri was born in 1265 in Florence and is considered to be the greatest Italian poet who has ever lived. He is also known as the father of the Italian language as we know it.

The first two protagonists in this ongoing series, Virgilio and Caronte, pay homage to the guiding wisdom and the unrelenting force of fate that shape the journey of the afterlife.

Virgilio, the venerable poet and Dante’s unwavering guide through Inferno and Purgatorio, embodies reason, wisdom, and the pursuit of knowledge. Always depicted in a flowing white tunic and crowned with laurel, Virgilio is now immortalized in a writing instrument that reflects his timeless elegance.

The Virgilio fountain pen features a refined acrylic resin body in shades of ivory, transitioning into hints of laurel green and touches of fire red, symbolizing wisdom and the passion for enlightenment. Adorned with bright yellow gold trims, this pen is a tribute to the poet’s noble spirit. The central ring is engraved and enameled with Virgilio’s name, a signature of his eternal legacy.

This pen is limited to 999 pieces.Each pen is individually numbered on the back of the clip.

A converter is included, and it also accepts standard international short and long cartridges. It also features Visconti’s steel nib (the same as on the Visconti Mythos) that is plated to match the trim.
