Visconti Comedia Fountain Pen – Caronte (Limited Edition)

Visconti is pleased to announce the “Comedia” collection inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. Dante Alighieri was born in 1265 in Florence and is considered to be the greatest Italian poet who has ever lived. He is also known as the father of the Italian language as we know it.

The first two protagonists in this ongoing series, Virgilio and Caronte, pay homage to the guiding wisdom and the unrelenting force of fate that shape the journey of the afterlife.

The Caronte fountain pen embodies this energy through a striking dark gray-blue coloration, evoking the turbulent waters of the infernal river. Dark ruthenium finishes enhance its shadowy aura. Also in this case, Caronte’s name is engraved and enameled on the central ring, just as the cap’s finial is also finely engraved and enameled.

This pen is limited to 999 pieces. Each pen is individually numbered on the back of the clip.

A converter is included, and it also accepts standard international short and long cartridges. It also features Visconti’s steel nib (the same as on the Visconti Mythos) that is plated to match the trim.
